Record Real Estate Sales in Turkey in Q1 2021

The world, including Turkey, suffered from the repercussions of the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic and caused major economies to decline, so Turkey experienced a period of depression in which real estate sales fell relatively. But today, after finding solutions like the vaccine and others, the real estate sector has strengthened in Turkey, in the form of a clear increase in real estate sales.
Recently, the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization and the General Directorate of Land Registry and Real Estate Registry conducted a joint statistical study regarding real estate sales in Turkey, and the result of this study was a significant increase in real estate sales during the first half of this year 2021. According to the study, one million 262,848 properties were sold in various Turkish provinces, according to the following order:
Istanbul with a total of 161,451 real estate sales.
• Ankara with a total of 84 thousand and 335 properties.
• Izmir with a total of 59 thousand 353 properties.
Antalya with 47 thousand and 687 properties.
