The annual property tax rate for foreigners in Turkey is 0.003, which is 3 per thousand of the value of the property, it means, if the value of the property, for example, is 100 thousand Turkish liras, a tax of 300 Turkish liras is paid, which means that it is a reasonable figure.
Although real estate professionals call it the annual property tax, it is originally a fee provided to the municipality against the public services it provide, such as infrastructure, cleaning, and others. Also, the actual amount is usually less than the stated amount.
