Reason Of Citizenship File's Delay in Turkey 2021

Some applicants for Turkish citizenship in Turkey started to complain about the delay in their files. What is the reason behind this delay, especially in 2021, since no one complained before that about the delay in his citizenship file.
The obvious reason for this delay is the measures to limit the spread of the novel coronavirus Covid-19 pandemic
As the Turkish government reduced the number of employees on job by 50% in addition to the lockdown measures that led to a reduction in the number of working hours, and therefore these measures caused a delay in the issuance of final decisions for applicants to obtain Turkish citizenship.
Citizenship files have now taken twice as long to be considered and studied, up to 5 or 6 months, while previously they needed a period of one or two months at most.
And since the procedures have begun to decrease and also due to the spread of the new anti-Coronavirus (Covid-19) vaccine, experts expect the employees to fully return to work and the return of the citizenship system to take less time until the decision is issued, but that will be at the end of the current year 2021.
