Turkey Eases Lockdown Measures

The Turkish government recently increased the restrictions of the domestic ban in Turkey, due to the increase in the number of people infected with the novel coronavirus, Covid-19, which reached 60,000 cases per day, and therefore the government imposed a general ban on all facilities schools, shops, etc., for a period of about a month.
The decision had a positive effect, and the government also began to vaccinate the people, starting with the elderlies, and thus the number of people infected with the emerging coronavirus, Covid-19, decreased significantly, so the Turkish government decided to ease the general ban, according to a speech delivered by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Monday. 31/5/2021, where he stated: The home ban will be limited to a night ban from 10 pm until 5 am the next day, on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. As for the complete curfew, it will be limited from 10 pm on Saturday until 5 am on Monday.
The Turkish government also allowed cafes, sports clubs, stadiums and parks to return to work from 7 am to 9 pm, while delivery services remain until 12 midnight.
It is also allowed to hold wedding ceremonies in open spaces and submit marriage transactions, starting from the first of June.
As for educational centers, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that primary, middle and high school students will receive their education in schools two days a week, starting from the first of June.
