Can Palestinians Purchase Properties in Turkey?

A Palestinian who has  Egyptian, Lebanese, Jordanian or Iraqi travel document can own property in Turkey

Now every Palestinian has the right to own property in Turkey:

This decision included the Palestinians who has documents issued by several Arab countries, as they can now buy real estate in Turkey, after the previous decision issued in 2012 was limited to allowing this to Palestinians who has a Palestinian passport (the Palestinian Authority passport).

As for Palestinians who have Jordanian passport, they are treated completely like a Jordanian citizen, therefore they also can own property in Turkey.

Moreover, Palestinians have can buy real estate in Turkey without specifying the number of real estate that a Palestinian investor can own, as Palestinians have the right to own all types of real estate in Turkey, including: apartments, villas, shops, commercial offices, stores, hotels, buildings and buildings unless it does not exceed 30 hectares, and the investor can find excellent opportunities to own lands of all kinds, such as farms and investment lands.

The requested documents to complete the ownership process for Palestinians in Turkey:

The Palestinian investor needs to submit the following documents to complete the real estate ownership transaction in Turkey:

Tax number.

Translated copy of the passport

Authentication of the translated passport at the Notary Public or through Turkish embassies and representations abroad.

2 Biometric photos.

Property fees which is about 4% of the property value.

However, according to Turkish law, Palestinian needs, the approval of the Interior Ministry. the process of property transfer transactions are carried out normally within the tax department for Palestinians who have Palestinian passports (the Palestinian Authority passport), or Jordanian passport.

Recently on March 6th, 2019  the Turkish gpvernment announced about amendments over the conditions of Palestinian ownership in Turkey, according to what was issued by the Tabu Directorate, the amendment request residency permit from the Immigration Department in addition to the previous documents.

Furthermore, the Palestinian can delegate another person to complete the process of purchasing the property in Turkey, and in this case the power of attorney must be done at the Notary Public, or through Turkish representations abroad.
